I love potato chips! Love them! Since I'm now trying to eat better I've looked for healthy alternatives to chips. And I found one and it's soooo delicious. Kale chips. You can make them at home. You just need some fresh kale. Wash it, break it up into bite size bits, sprinkle and stir by hand with what works for you. I'm no nutritionist or doctor, so do what works for your diet. I used sea salt, pepper, olive oil, fresh-squeezed lemon juice and nutritional yeast. Put on a foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. Let them cool and get crispy. Yum! I learned about nutritional yeast in the book Thrive, Vegan Nutrition Guide. I am not Vegan, but I do love a lot of the recipes. I combine clean eating/vegetarian/vegan recipes with some chicken and fish here and there. Okay health and cooking on a portrait photographer's blog? YES! Two good reasons 1) pretty pictures of food and 2) eating right will always make you look even more fabulous in your portraits! To healthy eating!!!
